RFID105 / RFID114 / RFID117

This module complements our CC613 charge controller as a separate board and is available as an accessory.

The RFID modules are available with or without status LEDs. They comply with the EN-ISO 14443A/MIFARE standard and support common card formats. The module is connected to the charge controller via a standard RJ45 cable.

The RFID module serves as a communication interface between the user and the charging station. It enables user authorization and the release of the charging process. Additionally, the charging station can visually indicate its operating status via the optionally integrated status LEDs.

Authorization is granted by holding a valid charging card up to the reader. For billing via a charge point operator, the card must be registered in an online backend system to initiate the vehicle's charging process.

In offline mode or when operating without billing, the user's RFID card can be stored locally in the charge controller. A learning process is available for this purpose, allowing multiple cards to be saved in a so-called “whitelist.”
