Our colleague Roman Schmattloch was honoured at the 62. Members' Meeting in Frankfurt as a member of the committee. With his many years of experience in the field of electrical safety for hydrogen technologies, his international network and his close cooperation with universities and standardisation bodies, Roman Schmattloch brings valuable perspectives to the network.
The H2BZ initiative aims to promote hydrogen as a forward-looking energy source in Hesse - through knowledge transfer, political pulses and practical cooperation between industry, science and the public sector.

Roman Schmattloch has been with Bender for almost ten years, currently as conductor of corporate development with a focus on hydrogen business development and standardisation work at international level. Previous positions in the company included management roles in technical sales. Prior to this, he worked for many years in technical and conducting sales functions.
With his election to the Executive Board, Bender continues to strengthen his position in the hydrogen sector and emphasises his clear commitment not only to accompany the energy transition, but also to play a live role in shaping it.
