The highly anticipated TechDay event was recently held under the motto “conneCted” at Bender. It was an exciting and successful day full of rich information, where colleagues from development, sales, production and quality management and guests had the chance to discuss current projects and new technological developments.
Further highlights included the engaging lectures in relation to “Test automation” and “Successful Enterprise Transformation”, as well as the keynote speech provided by Dr. Albrecht Beutelspacher, in which his presentation on an array of impressive mathematical phenomena was met with astonishment. During his speech, he demonstrated how one can take a simple piece of paper and turn it into a three-dimensional, geometric object with the help of just a few rubber bands.
Other popular attractions included the innovative tools and gadgets exhibit, in which, among other things, a self-developed E-longboard and LED racecourse were displayed and “thoroughly tested” by our managing directors with a proper duel. The grand finale was the award ceremony, where five inventors were awarded for their accomplishments this past year. First place was taken by the Calibration Law, which was named to be one of the greatest achievements of 2019. We thank all those who participated at this event and look forward to another successful TechDay!
